A Little Bit About Me
I'm 48 yrs old. A finance professional. Recently settled down in the US. Grew up in Sri Lanka but the last 25 years of my adult life was in UAE and Oman until I migrated to the US a couple of years ago. I am recently divorced. I have a 12 year old son. My life has revolved around me work and my son. I can make a decent meal. I work out for basic fitness - not a big gym buff but just enough to balance out my sweet cravings. What I Am Looking For
A calm woman with whom I may be able to establish some sense of compatibility when it comes to both our core values. I sincerely believe it is critical that we try to understand what each of our core values are and to see if we are compatible with one another in order to have a more long lasting loving marriage. This is because, while I can appreciate that a marriage is based on trust honesty and compromise and does involve a certain degree of adjustment from both partners, it shouldn't be the case that one is expected to compromise on their core beliefs as this can cause unwanted problems in the future. Two people can be good people individually but they may not be necessarily good for each other.. and thus why compatibility is key to any marriage. I do not have a long check list that I am looking for in a prospective partner.
